10 THE EDITOR. Sir, —In your issue of last evening you published a statement made by tha Swedish Consul at Sydney to the effect that Sweden was not supplying Germany with butter. Weddel's Review for this year gives the following figures:—ln 1913 Swedish exports of butter to Great Britain were 16.000 tons. For the nine months ending March, 1916, they sent to Great Britain 2,825 tons of butter, and for the same period ending March, 1917, they sent two tons ! 'Where has the butter gone ?—I am, etc. : F.
