SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Before a most enthusiastic _ audience last evening, Mrs. J. Moore gave a concert crowded with popular items, all of which were encored. An item that gave a great deal of pleasure was the swinging of electrically-lighted clnbs by Miss Crane. Choruses filled a big space in the programme. The short stories competition was wonderfully successful. Mr. Moore (Missioner) pleaded for discarded books for use on vessels. The performers were Mesdames Good and Walker, and the Misses Mackay, and Messrs. B. O'Connor, Manning, a*- J Fisher, and Lt. C. P. Crane.
