CRICKET
SUMMARY' OJ 1 SENIOR-GAMES. Those>senior and junior cricket games commenced on Saturday last will be concluded to-morrow. In the senior grade, most interest attaches to the contest between North and Trentham. The former, batting last Saturday, scored 263, and the latter, when skimps were drawn, had scored 86. To equalise, Trentham have to score 177 runs for seven wickets. The match between Old Boys and: East promises to be'rather one-sided. A tally of 219 runs has been registered by Old Boys, .while East have lost eight wickets for the small score of 97. At Petone the Returned Soldiers, in their first innings, scored 66, Ito which Petone responded with 31. Batting in the second innings, the returned men have lost eight wickets for 42 runs. Third grade fixtures appearedl in last night's Post-.

Porirua, at Porirna; St. Patrick's College A v. Marist, at Basin Reserve; St. Patrick's College B v. Institute A, at Dappa-street. Junior B. Institnte F v. Brooklyn, at Duppa^street; St. Patrick's College C y. Institute E, at Duppa-street; Institute C v. Thorndon, at Ajiderson ParK ; Marist v. V.M.C.A. at Newtown Park; St. Thomas v. Institute D, at Duppn-street.
