BOYS' LEAGUE
Mr. P. Ross presided over last night's meeting of the Boys' Cricket League. Six entries were received for the senior cup and .eighteen for the junior. Owin<r to the big number of junior teams, and also to give the younger boys a fair chance, it was decided to run A and B grades and to provide a cup and medals lor the B grade. Mr. Eglin wrote accepting office cf president and Mr. M'Chiskey accepted office of vice-president and offered a medal for best junior batting average Regarding qualification for battincand bowling averages, it was decided that a player to obtain the average must have batted m six innings, and a bowler must have played in six matches and obtained at least 25 wickets. Committees were appointed as follow : Senior selection, Messrs. Salmon Barrett, and Bolt; junior selection, Messrs. Koss, M Cluskey, and Hendry; rules revision committee, the chairman secretary, and Mr. M 'Cluskey. '
