Coming to Shortt's popular theatre on Saturday is "The Greatest Power," one of the strongest and most exciting stories ovnr Vhown. It has action, suspense, love, achievement, and is, ■withal, a powerful drama in which there is a subtle war note. The plot hinges on the discovery of a deadly explosive, and the quest for the formula by an enemy spy. A woman scientist and a young chemist supply- the love theme, and there are several exciting moments, including the destruction of a village. Ethel Barrymore, William Davidson, and Harry North Tup have the leads, and the acting in this vivid production is acclaimed everywhere as a triumph.
