WHYTE.—Killed in action on the 4th October, 11)17, somewhere in France, Corporal W. Whyte (late Inspector Wellington Tramways). Deeply mourned by. all who knew him. V.'HYTE.—Killed in action on the 4th October, 1917, Corporal Walter Whyte, 25th Reinforcements, beloved brother of Mrs. G. livetl^t, Kilbirnie. Asleep on foreign soil. At rest in a soldier's grave.
