RISING IN TRIPOLI
REBELS SUPPLIED WITH GERMAN MATERIAL.
(REUTBR'S TELEGRAM.) ROME, 25th September,
After six hours of hard fighting an Italian column on 20th September routed 7000' hostile riflemen and 800 cavalry, with artillery and machine-guns, commanded by Huri Pasha and other Turks, in the Zanzur region of Southern Tripoli. The enemy's losses are estimated at 1600. A quantity of material, all of German make, was captured.
