SHIPPING DISPUTE
BOTH SIDES APPEAR TO BE MARKING TIME.
Attempts at conciliation in the shipping dispute have not been attended with success, and both parties appear to be marking time and waiting for the next move. Other vessels at Lyttelton, Wellington; and Wanganui have been added to the list of those held up, the number now being about twenty. A meeting of the Seamen's Union was held yesterday afternoon, but no special business was reported
