TEMPORARY TRANSFER OF A LICENSE

A temporary transfer of the license of the Taita Hotel was granted from William Moore to Myra Campbell at a special sitting of the Hutt Licensing Committee yesterday. An objection ] Was raised by Constable Holmes on behalf of the Police, on the ground that the conduct of the hotel since the applicant had been there was Unsatisfactory, Mi. J. J. M'Grath for. the owners. The Bench was occupied by Mr. W. G-. Riddell (chairman), and Messrs. M. Welch, J. Cudby, J. Cotton, and J. W. M'Ewan.
