ARGENTINE CRISIS
EXCITEMENT BREEDS STRIKES
MUCH DAMAGE ALREADY DONE.

BUENOS AIRES, 17th September. Though the crisis is temporarily over the excitement continues. The majority in Congress Eposes ■ the Government, whose policy is considered to have been vacillating. Strikes are occurring on the Frendh and British railway^, and a general strike is probable. Already there, has been much sabotage, and stores androlling stock have been burned.
