SCENES AT THE FRONT?
What is probably the finest selection of war pictures yet available in this country will be displayed in the Town Hall, for the first time; this evening. This series, "Sons of the Empire," was recently exhibited.'privately- to an official a-udience, and created the liveliest, interest. It is remarkably extensive in respect to ;the numerous activities represented, and deals in a very satisfactory way -with both the Army, and the Navy. The^ pictures have a very, great educational value,'which alone would justify the widest patronage!' They: are, however, destined to serve a patriotic end,.for the proceeds of it-he exhibitions, Which are under the V.M.C.A. management, are to be devoted to funds to add to the never sufficient comforts of the men who are fighting for the Empire. No matter where our men are, in, the trenches or in camp or hospital, >or recovering from wounds or sickness, they will he benefited by these exhibitions. The box plan for the season is at the Bristol Piano Company. .
