A NAVAL OFFENSIVE
ENEMY PREPARING TO ATTACK REVAL
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received September 7, 11.30 a.m.) ' NEW YORK, 6th September It is reported that the- German fleet is preparing to attack Reval. [Reval is a fortified naval base on the coast of the Gulf of Finland, 180 miles north of Riga, and 200 miles west of Petrograd.] TO ORGANISE VOLUNTEERS PETROGRAD, sth September. M. Lebedeff (Acting-Blinister for Marine) has resigned in order to form a volunteer corps in the interior. He has General Koiniloff's approval.
