AMERICAN INTENTIONS
END OF DYNASTY NOT IMPERATIVE. (Received September 5, 1 p.m.) WASHINGTON, 4th September. The State Department has announced that the Government' will not insist on the actual abdication of the Hohenzollern dynasty as a condition of peace. The United States will be the judge whether any attempted German reforms are bona fide and will sufficiently eliminate the sinister elements known as Hohenzollernism.
