That several of the Maoris are doing their share- towards the War Loan was brought under the notice of the Rangitikei Advocate on Saturday, whan, ft Maori lad of 19, Henry Downs, of Rata, invested £1000 in war bonds, and his sister £200.
Mr. W. T. Penny, secretary of the Jla.iio.wa.tu A. and P. Association, is :it present visiting Wellington, with several members of the committee, for the pui-youa of making the annual appeal for support.
