MILITARY HOSPITALS

A return made available by the Minister of Defence shows that for the week ending 24th August there were 23 cases of disease admitted to hospital at Trentham, 45 at Featherston, and 4 at Awapuni. There were no deaths, and there were no serious cases of illness in any of the camps. During the preceding week there were 22 admissions to hospital at Trentham, 30 at Featherston, and 1 at Awapuni. There was a single case of meningitis, the patient showing great improvement.
