SAMOA EXPENSES
COST OF-OCCUPATION.
Some of the items included! in the expenses the Dominion has incurred in connection with the occupation of Samoa as detailed in a statement presented in Parliament yesterday aie as follow :
Pay and allowances of troops, £152,120. ' Transport charges, £86,404. Mobilisation and equipment, £14,960. Provisions and supplies, £55,980. Other items, £2248. Grand total up to 31st March, 1917, £311,724.
