KENT-TERRACE PRESBYTERIAN SUNDAY SCHOOL.
The anniversary services of the Kentterrace Presbyterian Sunday •• ■ School were further celebrated last night by a tea and entertainment. The, schoolroom was taxed to its utmost to ".accommodate the large' gathering, Mr,.. W.-M. Hannay (superintendent), .presided. ..The, Rev. Dr. Kennedy Elliott, in a few introductory! remarks, expressed his pleasure at the interest shown, by the parents. and friends in the children's efforts. After an excellent repast, the tables being presided over by,lady teachers and, the Young Women's Bible Class, a lpng programme of elocutionary and musical litcia was rendered 'by "the scholars. Pianoforte 1, solos were.given by, Nancy Reid, Margaret Math'ieson, and • Kathleen Sheardy, a, violin solo by John Leitch, and a piano and violin duet by Noya and Noel 'Wilson. Those. taking. part in the various dialogues were Mavis M'Kinnon, D. MacFarlane," M. M'Nair, K. Sheard, L. Barry, L. Simpson, and C. Tait; Rita Howe, Noya Wilson, R. Osborne, E. Cunningham, M. Mathieson, P. Card, M. Drummond, N. IChouri, N. Reid, and D: Sawyer; E. Hewitt, V. Hitchings, N. and M. Maclaurin, H. Tolley, N. Allen, D. Paul, C. Hansen, Elna Glover, L. Gower, E. Adams, P. M'Millan, J. Card, and E. Tamblyn. Recitations were given by Melville Driimmond, Allan Watt, Eva and Rita. Howe, Dorothy Sawyer, Vera O'Brien, Mavis M'Kin--11011, and Noya Wilson. Misses Rita Home, Noya Wilson, L. Barry, and L. Simpson were heard in duets, and songs were rendered by Mavis Sawyer and Nancy Maclaurin. In the action songs parts were taken by Ada Glover,. E. Maclaurin; V., R., and S. O'Brien, E. Parnell, M. Coe, D. Meikle, and M. Sawyer. The proceedings closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
