LONDON, 28th August. A Russian official report states : Co-operating with the fleet, we raided j a port in the Black Sea. The enemy fired from the hospitals. We destroyed tho official buildings, blew up eleven motor-boats and seven feluccas. IN THE CZERNOVITZ SECTOR LONDON, 28th August. A German official report states : We captured important positions east of Gzernovitz, and took one thousand prisoners and six guns. Our infantry I near Boyel;, not waiting for the attack, left the trenches and retired eastward. ! The reserves also scattered, and the Austrians occupied the positions.
