■ Last evening the . executive qf the Wellington^-Rugby Union met in the secretary's office. Mr. D. D. Weir presided. A St. James' Club player, S. Mueller, was suspended for the 1918 season for having, been over age, played in the fifth class competition. As a result of his'action the St. James' \ Club, 1 which were leading in the fiftb grade, forfeit all matches won by them -during the season. . . '

J. M. M'Arthur (Poneke) denied that he was over the age of twenty. A.certificate from the sdhool he attended stated that he was 23 yeaife of .age. Further enquiries are to be made. The New Zealand Natives' Association Band wrote expressing tho willingness to help the Park Fund by playing through the city streets on Bth September, the day of'the Auckland-Wellington match. The Trentham Band will also play on that day.
