RACING AND THE LOAN
TO IHE EDITOR Sirj— I would Eke to make a suggestion to tho racing clubs, and it is this: That they should help the Liberty War i Loan by paying out totalisator dividends and prize-money in war certificates. I do not suppose the Minister of Finance would put any* obstacles in the way of clubs wanting to do this. A double object would Lo achieved —the racing clubs would be «b!e to show their loyalty and sportsmanship and the followers of the "Sport of Kings" would have the added satisfaction of knowing that they were helping to win the war.—l am, etc., SPORT. 24th August.
