At th* Magistrate',? G'durt ytetertia-y, before Mt. h. G. Reid, S.M., the following further cases were heard: — For a- breach of his prohibition order. Saniual Beattio was penalised in tho sum of 40s, with tho alternative of 14 days' imprisonment. Minor offences were dealt with as under: —Joseph Henry Bock and David Mason, broaches of traffic bylaws, fined 5s each and costs; John Millanta, leaving vehicle unattended; fined 20r, and costs: John M'Millan, allowing chimney to catch fire, fined. 5s and costs; Huirh Campbell M'Kellar and Howai-d Nattrass, insufficient lights on vehicles, fined 10s and 20s and costs respectively.
