IMPORTANT DISPUTES.
Two important disputes were heard by the Arbitration Court last week. In the plumbers' dispute the case was adjourned in order that further evidence might be heard at .one centre, in the South Island. The tailors' case . was also partly heard, and it is probable that further evidence will be called at the three other centres before any award whatever is made, since ..the employers have introduced the question of the team system, which, if adopted, would render necessary . the reconstruction of the whole- award.
