RAID ON MIDDELKERKE.

(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND OABLS ASSOCIATION.) AMSTERDAM, 24th August. British warships bombarded Zeebrugge •n Wednesday. The firing- was heard at Flushing. The bombardment was continued . at intervals to-day.

(AUS. AND N.Z. CABLE ASSN. AND REUTER.) (Received August 25, 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, 24th August. The Admiralty reports: Yesterday morning the naval air service dropped many tons of bombs on the dumps at Middelkerke and Raversyde, and the Hortyue aerodrome. The machines returned safely.
