STAR THEATRE, NEWTOWN.
The usual Saturday night performance will take place at the Star Theatre, Newtown. to-night, when the chief picture among many will be a five-act play, "The Cowbody and the Lady."
Mr. A. P. Harper, president of the Alpine Club, is to lecture in St. Peter's Schoolroom on Monday evening on his climbs among the Southern Alps. The lecture, which will be illustrated by lantern views, is being given on behalf of the Anglican Society for the ■ Promotion of Sunday School Work.
