An enthusiastic meeting of the Lower Hutt "Our Day" Red Cross Committee and helpers was held last evening in the local Council Chambers to prepare circular appeals to the public. The circulars were all placed in envelopes, and will be delivered to each house in the borough by the Boy Scouts. _ The district, was mapped out into districts and canvassers appointed for each. Tho effort gives every indication of being a great, success. Entertainments are being arranged and a monster produce sa-lii controlled by iho ladies is being put ill hand.
