ONSLOW MATTERS
The Mayor (Mr. J., M. Dale) presided over a. meeting of the Onslow Borough Council on Saturday^ evening. There were also present: Councillors E. A. Budd, W. Appleton, C. Bowden, E. Hobbe, E. G. Tucker, A. B. Topp, A. W. PaJmer, and J. C. Gardner. . ■ .
A formal motion levying rates for the year 1917-18 was moved by Councillor E. A. Budd and carried. ;
On the request o£ Major Smith it was decided to renew the burnt pino trees at the brea-kwind on Jackson track.
Mr. J. Hill, of Kaiwa-rra, was appointed to the position of road foreman for the borough.
