WELLINGTON SOUTH CLUB.
On Saturday afternoon the Wellington South Rifle Club shot for a trophy, presented by Mr. Forester. The winner was Mr. P. H. Anderson, who goes inlto camp this week. The following are the scores :—P. H. Anderson (scratch), 68; Lippett (handicap 3), (18; (J. W. Tanner (4), G8; Adams (3), 67; Haase, scratch, 66; Evans (3), 66; Goldfinch (3), 66; Scott (8), 65; Faber (scratch), G4; Crawford (1), 61; Hassell (5), 56. For the E. W. Mills Cup, the following are the leading aggregate scores up to present-.—C. W. Tanner 258, Paber 256, Haase 255/ Adams 254, Lippeitt 253, Evans 249.
