NATIVES' ASSOCIATION BAND.
— The Natives'. Association Band will give another of it 3, concerts, for -which it has become noted, on Sunday evening next, at His Majesty's Theatre. An. excellent' programme has been .prepared. Mrs. C. Melvin, the' gifted Australian soprano, will sing "Carissima," etc.l Miss Frieda . Walter, the' artistic" violin, soloist, will play "Allegro Brillante,". by Mnsuij the celebrated violinist who. visited_ Wellington a few years ago. Mr. T. Pringle, the popular vocalist, will sing "How's My Boy?"; Mrs. and Mr. C. Melvin will contribute' the duet "Watihman,. What of the Night: and .Mr. Melvin (a talented Australian, baritone)' 1 will sing ''The King's Own" and other songs. .The. band items are.particularly good; and include a tuneful selection "Memories of Bqlfe" and a pretty euphonium solo, "Rest" (arranged by/ Lieut. T. Herd). .Mr. (J. Di Grant will be the soloist. A silver coin collection will be made. ' The programme will appear in to-morrow- night's rost.
