SHORTT'S THEATRE.
''Within'■the Law," a picture /version of the well-known drama, is proving a great attraction at Shortt's Theatre. On and from to-morrow a film said to be ■remarkable in some respects is to be screened. It is entitled, ."Big Tremaine," and it is a drama of power, in which, Harold Lockwood and May Allison lead. The story is one of a man who leaves home under a clouS of suspicion, and who eventually returns to have his good name restored. How his innocence is discovered arid made known to the world, how he is made Congressman, and earns the hand in marriage of the daughter of the man he waa thought tto have defrauded, are. leading incidents in a gripping story.' Among those prominent in the supporting cast are Lester. Cuneo, who has the important part of. Banker Malvern, William Ejftie as the treacherous David, and Virginia Southern in the part of Julia Cameron.
