From a good Start Sir Agnes shot out and led a strung-out field for about five furlongs.. Tip Up ajid, Parisian Diamond then passed him, but a 'furlong from home the former fell back, , Brambletye and King Star challenged, and the lastnamed got up in time to win by a head. Brambletye was close up third, Sir Agnes was fourth, and Tip Qp^ fifth. Time, lmin 45 4-ssec. Bell, the rider'of the winner, was fined £5 for careless riding.
