DOMINIONS OPPOSED TO RESTORA-
TION.
(FUIUSHED IN TUB HUES.) (Received August 16, 8 a.m.)
LONDON, ISth August.
In the House of Commons, Mr. D. Macmaster said he was assured that the Governmente of the. Dominions were uniformly opposed to the restoration of the German colonies. They all realised the danger of Germany regaining possession of colonies near them. He urged the Government immediately to carry out the recommendations of the Imperial Conference in order to make the harbours of the Empire adequate and to ensure sufficient food supplies and transport for them, to control the Empire's resources for national purposes, and encourage the manufactures of the Empire.
