A "CLEAN" DISTRICT.
Spying with a view to trapping-the publicans of Blenheim was an allegation mado by Mr. R. M'Callum, in the House of Representatives last night. Mr. M'Callum said that two men had been sent to Ills strpnghold in order to detect breaches of the anti-shouting laws. He indignantly contended that such methods were contemptible. Hie district had a clean record, although, it was barleygrowing country. i
