PROTEST FROM TIMARU.

(M .TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

TIMARU, This Day. The Flour Mill Employees' Union passed the following resolution:—This meeting protests against the action of the Government in. allowing- Australian flour to be dumped in New Zealand to the detriment of the-flour trade here; and points out that if relief is not soon given the mills, which are full of flour, will have to shut down, andl men will be out of workl . '

The union telegraphed the resolution to the Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey, who replied that the flour position, was receiving the earnest consideration of the Government.
