SERIOUS MOTOR-CAR ACCIDENT

A serious motor-car »coident occurred on the Tai^a Gorge, this morning. Carrying a, party to the races a car skidded and went over tho bank, a distance of about 20 feet. Mrs. Anstice' and Miss Egan were seriously hurt, and were removed to the Trentham. Hospital. The car was a Minerva.

' Later information is that Mrs.; Anstice's condition is grave. She is suffering from a' fractured rib, an injury to the lung, and from' shock. Miss Egan suffered a broken rib, but; came back to,the city. The other occupants were not hurt. ,) ; '
