V.M.C.A BOYS' DEPARTMENT
Over sixty members were present' at tho opening of, the new rooms of V.M.C.A. Boys' Department. ihe speaker for the evening was,the Rev. V» S. "Rollings, :of the Brooklyn Baptist Church, who gave an interesting tmd mstruetivo address.' Theroom will be open every night except Tuesday for the purpose of holding various instructional classes as well as for recreative purposes. It is proposed to begin a big membership oampaign, with the object of. increasing the membership by 300 members. All boys desirous of joining ; should communicate with the Boys' Work Director :(Mr.. F Thomas), who is in attendance at the rooms each day. One of the oustanding features of the work is the Dinner Hour Club held daily from Monday to Friday inclusive between 12 noon and 2 p.m. Tea. and cocoa are provided at a small charge; also the games and reading room are at the disposal of the members..
