News has been received by Mr. G. C. Paterson, Chief Post Office, of the death of his brother, Pte. A. C. Paterson, of the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders, who was killed in action on the 23rd April. Deceased was 19 years of age, and had seen twelve months' active service. This makes the second brother of Mr. Paterson killed in action, the first (Pte. J. C. Paterson, a member nf the Gordon Highlanders, aged 17) being killed on Btli August, 1915.
