Kinemacolor opens to-night at the Town Hall, in the presence of Their Excellencies the Governor Lady Liverpool, and suite, also a large party of prominent Government officials. It is seldom the opportunity is afforded of seeing in picture form one's own country in the actual hues and tints of nature, but kinemacolor enables one to do this. A most comprehensive tour of New Zealand can be undertaken at small cost by paying a visit to the beautiful kinemacolor pictures They cover almost everything that is of interest in the Dominion, and it follows that there is much that is beautiful as well as entertaining. They are the official films taken for the Government, and are shown for the first time here by Mr. W. J. Shephard. There is not only the magnificent series of New Zealand, but in "The World Reviewed" one is shown spectacular subjects in the world. The series covers a wide field, and /creates a new atmosphere in picture production. Matinees will be given on Wednesday and Saturday, at which children ■ will be admitted half price.
