PEOPLE'S PICTURE PALACE
The unanimous verdict of to-day's large audiences is that "The Purple Iris," a serial drama to be shown in six parts, easily heads the list of popular attractions yet shown at the People's Picture Palace. "The Purple Iris" features Ola Jane Humphrey, an American actress, • who married an Egyptian Prince only to find that she was "one of a harem." The jealously, guarded secrets of the harem are exposed in this serial. The programme includes .a five-reel Art drama entitled "Her Good Name," and "Jungle Vaudeville" (comedy).
