ANOTHER LIST ANNOUNCED
The appointments and transfers of. the ] undermentioned officers on active service I with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force have been approved :^- Commands and Staffs. Col. Hon, G. J. Smith, Canterbury Regiment, to be second in command, N.Z. Infantry Reserve Group, (dated 14th February). Capt. T. R. Eastwood, M.C., Rifle Brigade, to be brigade major, 4th N.Z. Infantry Brigade (dated 15th March). Capt. P. W. Skelley, N.Z.S.C., to be administrative officer, N.Z. Infantry Reserve Group (dated 6th March). Canterbury Mounted Rifles. Capt. J. S. Barker is seconded for duty as A.D.C. to G.O.C. , Anzao Mounted Division (dated 7th February). New Zealand Camel Corps. Lieut, H, 0, Hemphill to be adjutant 3rd (Anzac) Battalion Imperial Camel Corps, and is seconded while so employed (dated 11th November, 1916). \ New Zealand .Engineers, Field Companies. The undermentioned cease to be seconded for duty at N.Z. Engineer Reserve Depot (dated 13th March): — 2nd Lieuts. F M. Cqrkill and K. T. Jenssen. 2nd Lieut. J. J. Moore to be adjutant,N.Z. Engineer Reserve Depot, and is granted the temporary rank of lieutenant ! while so employed (dated 13th March). Auckland Regiment. Lieut. F, R. Foster ceases to be seoonded for duty with a light trench mortar battery (dated 3rd March). The, undermentioned cease to be seconded for duty with a Reserve Battalion (dated 15th March) :— Lieuts. O. H. Booth, D. W. M'Clurg, S. Wood, C. M. Littlejohn, L. H. Gillett 2nd Lieut. E: Goodwin is transferred to the N.Z. Machine Gun Corp^ (dated 2nd March). Capt. T. W Sommerville is seconded for duty in England (dated 3rd March, 1917). Canterbury Regiment. The undermentioned cease to be seconded fdr - <Juty with a Reserve Battalion (dated 16th March):— Col. Hon. G. J., Smith, Capt. A. F. R. Rohloff, Lieuts, H, M, Foster, A. G. Bryan, J. A. B. Le Motte, J. W. Langridge, 2nd Lieuts. L. B. Huttou, F. J. Foord, F. Richardson. Major D. B. Blair, M.C., N.Z.5.0., is; transferred to Auckland Regiment (dated 15th March). Major B. S. Jordan is seconded for duty in England (dated 15th March, 1917). The undermentioned are seconded for training as, machine-gun officers :—2nd Lieuts. W. E. Grant (dated 21st February), E. G. Stnbbs (dated 14th March). ' Otago Regiment. Major J. B, M'Clymont is taken on the strength and is seconded for duty with 3rd (Reserve) Battalion, CanterburyOtago Regiments (dated 12th January). The undermentioned cease.to be seconded for duty with a Reserve Battalion (dated 15th March) :—Major J.B. M'Clymont, Captains R. H. Nicholson and E. M. Gabites. 2nd Lieut. H. E, Standring is transferred to the N.Z.F.A. (dated 10th March). 2nd Lieut, P. M'lntyre is transferred to the N.Z. Machine Gun Corps (dated 2nd March). Christie, Lieut. C. W. Birch, 2nd Lieuts. C. N. Rabone, G. Mawley, C. J. M. V. Clark, R. Goldsman, H. E. Crosse, S. Gardner, and T. Brown. Capt. C. R. A. Magnay to be adjutant, sth ■ (Reserve) Battalion (dated 15th November, 1916). N.Z. Machine Gun Corps. Lieut. G. F. Yerex is transferred to Auckland Mounted Rifles (dated 16th February).
