GREECE AS A REPUBLIC
MOVEMENT IS SPREADING
(beuteb's teusgbah.)
LONDON, 29th May. The situation in Greece is still complicated, but a republican movement seems to be spreading. ' It is significant that M. Venizelos, who hitherto has emphasised the fact; that his movement was not anti-dynastic, now openly asserts that King Constantine must go if Greek political liberties are to be maintained. The President of the Congress of Hellenic Counties also declares that the dynasty has become impossible, and that the .establishment of a republic has become inevitable.
