WESTPORT, 30th May. At a by-election to-day for the Borough Council, to fill a vacancy caused by the death of Mr. H. Larsen, there were five candidates, H. T. Parry heading tho poll with 447 votes, the next highest candidate being R. Weeks (Labour), with 301 \otes. Mr. Parry was the Protestant Association's candidate." ■ .
