Little work was done at Ellerslie this morning. Castiron jumped four hurdles proficiently, and Marconi and Joss, in company, performed the same task. Red Ribbon ran seven furlongs on the sand in lmin 33 2-Ssec . '
Chilblain has been scratched for the Jervois Handicap, and Barbwire for the Maiden Steeplechase.
