LONDON, 29th May. A Russian official report states.: Our ships landed a party at Chivi, east of Samsun (on the Black Sea coast, 200 miles west of Trebizond), destroyed a gendarmerie post, and burned a store of .grain and two large sailing ships. Two other . ships were conducted to Trebizond.'
