NECESSITY FOR REASSURING THE GERMAN PEOPLE (renter's telegram.) (Received May 30, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 29th May. As a counterblast to Mr. Lloyd George's statement on the submarine position, the German Government has issued a lengthy statement designed to reassure the people.
