SWIMMING
Two events for ladies were decided at the Tepid Baths last evening under the auspices of the Ladies' Swimming and Life Saving Club. The result of the 335,-yds_ back-stroke was as under :—Miss Allen, scr., 1; _ Miss Edmondson, teeo, .2. Also started: Misses Ayling' lsec, Troup 2sec, and Buckmaster scr. In a. 333 yds towing competition Misses Edmonson and Troup defeated Misses Buckmaster and Allen.
