: Charged with depositing fish offal on the beach at Island Bay, David Mason pleaded not guilty -in the Magistrate's Court to-day. It was admitted that. a quantity of.fish heads:was placed in a boat lying on the beach, but defendant contended that it- had -been placed there preparatory to being used for bait. T%e Magistrate (Mr. L. G. Reid, .-B;Si.) upheld the contention, and dismissed the information. Defendant was represented by Mr. P. J. O'Regan. " i '.
