FRESNOY FIRMLY HELD

LONDON, 9th May.
Wireless, per Admiralty Press.—A German' official report states :' Our Bavarian and Frankish regiments which stormed Fresnoy held the village, against the enemy's counter-attacks. We repulsed British advances at Roeux and Bullecourt, and repulsed the French after a' hand-to-hand struggle between Winterburg and the Corbeny-Berry-au-Bac road.
