DOMINION CONFERENCE CON

OLUDBS.

The Dominion Confererioe of the Church of England Men's Society was continued yesterday. ■ At the morning session the Bishop of Wellington delivered an address on "Reunion of Christendom," and tha Bishop of Nelson dealt with the problem of " How may {Ihe Church meet the Spiritual Needs of Returned Soldiers." At the meeting in the af'ernpon, Dr. Fclkin read a paper on " The Church and the Present." and Mr. Jv. Gardner a- paper on " The Church and tlio Future." As a result of a. discussion on. the 'latter, it was decided to send an appeal from the conference to all G.E.M.S. members in New Zealand, asking them to adopt as a rulo of personal' life the regular attendance at Iloly Communion : the allocation of a definite portion of their income to church work; to esipi'eas fellowship to Christ in true citizenship; to recognise that character-building is the basis of education, and to do all in. their power to encourage the formation of Church schools. .

At the evening session, which closed the conference, the, Rev. Canon Taylor spoke oil " Church Work Among om 1 Soldiers at the Front." and Mr. J. Stiell dealt with the subject-of " Bt>ligious Reconstruction."
