In the House of Commons, Mr. Steel Maitland (Under-SeereUry to the Colonial Office) said he wail aware that Australia was preparing to assist the settling of ex-soldiers on the land; but he did not know whether provision would bo available for ex-sailors and "soldiers emigrating from Britain.
