MISSING BALLOT MEN
NEW LIST OF 476 NAMES
A Gazette Extraordinary was issued to-day containing tha names of a further 476 men drawn in various ballots who have failed to parade and -whom the De-. fence authorities have been unable to trace. They are now ordered to report in person and present themselves to the group commanders of their respective groups at 10 a.m. on ith May for medical examination, and are warned that unless they do so they mey be tried and punished under the Army Act for the offence of desertion or of absenting themselves without leave, as the case may be. • The names of the missing nien~ in the Wellington City, Manawatu, and Wairarapa groups are given in the Gazette as follow:— No. 5 GROUP (WELLINGTON CITY) Young, W..
